A place to publish and share our English audio files.


The first foreign language taught in Norwegian schools, is English. English is compulsory for seven years in primary school. We use computers almost daily to train skills such as understanding, listening, imitating, singing, reading, writing and speaking English. You can listen to and enjoy some of our audio files on this site!

WHO ARE WE?
We are a primary school in Norway. Our students are aged between six and twelve years. This site belongs to the fourth grade. We are nine years old.

WHERE ARE WE?
Our school is in Halden, in the south-east corner of Norway, near the Swedish boarder, in the county of Østfold. We are also in Europe.

WHO RUNS OUR WEBSITE?
The website is run by Berit Hope Olaussen and Karin Dahlberg Pettersen at The National Centre of Foreign Languages. Our school also plays a part in helping to run the site.

Topics are chosen and trained by Inger Marie Nakken and Dyril Melberg in cooperation with their fourth graders. The students are well trained and love English.
