Background:

FIRST LEGO League (FLL) is an exciting global robotics program. Enthusiastic children ages 10 to 14 all over the world participate in FLL every year. They do research and solve a real-world problem based on the Challenge theme. They design, build and program a robot using engineering concepts. They present their research and solutions in tournaments and championships.

Smart Move
is the 2009 Challenge. The key to the 2009 Smart Move Challenge is accessing people, places, goods and services in the safest, most efficient way possible. Teams will consider many modes of transportation beyond their daily routine and streamline their options by making smart moves!

Colourful Smarties
aged 10 from Hjortsberg school in Halden, Norway, will join the Scandinavian FLL community this autumn. We are already on to it! We have opened a bank account and contacted possible sponsors. Our participation in FLL 2009 will cost us at least 12.000 Norwegian crowns.

Students, parents and teachers are all looking forward to the Smart Move Challenge. Together we will build a strong team and do our very best!

Kick off is September 12.2009!
